NEVER EVER GOING BACK
Hilde Louises fifth album, produced by Anders Aarum, featuring Hilde Louise Orchestra, is a result of the spicy chemistry between the artist and the band:
They have created a delightful mixture of vintage rock, jazzy cabaret and pop noir. This combination perfectly fits her dramatic, poetic and sometimes deterministic lyrics and in many ways she creates her own genre.
Hilde Louise Orchestra this time: Anders Aarum on keys, Jens Fossum on double bass, Jan Martin Smørdal on guitar and Klaus Blomvik on the drums and percussion, Mattias Stahl on vibraphone and marimba, Ketil Einarsen on the flute, Atle Nymo on saxophones and clarinette, Hermund Nygård on brushes, Julie Dahle Aagård and Renate Nygård on add.vocals and Katrine Schiøtt on chello. Released March 2010.

SOUND YOUR HORN
"Sound Your Horn" is a poetic cocktail of jazz, cabaret and pop-music. Produced by Anders Aarum, it presents a darker, more characteristic side of Hilde Louise. It is recorded on tape in a boathouse and features an energetic Hilde Louise Orchestra, from the top of the Norwegian jazz league.
Released May 2008.

NO VIL EG VAKE MED DEG
A tribute to the late Swedish jazzsinger Monica Zetterlund. Together with producer Georg Wadenius, Hilde Louise chose her favourites from Zetterlunds repertoir. Translated in to new Norwegian by author Edvard Hoem and orchestrated by some of Scandinavias finest jazzmusicians.

BIRDIE BLUES
Compared to "Eleven Nights", with its toutch of cabaret and nostalgia, "Birdie Blues" has a more modern sound, inspired by soul and pop music. The songs confirm Hilde Louise as a great storyteller, and connoisseures can recognize lyrical references to the American standards.
